I’m Rebecca “Bex” Parker, a Sports & Clinical MSK Therapist, with a

First-Class BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy.

As R J Parker Sports & Remedial Therapy I aim for professional, client-focused therapy practice dedicated to supporting movement, recovery, and overall wellbeing.

The business offers a range of evidence-informed treatments with a strong focus on musculoskeletal (MSK) health, including therapeutic soft tissue therapies, dry needling, electrotherapies, rehabilitation support, reflexology, and aromareflex treatments, all tailored to each individual’s needs.

Working with people of all activity levels—from those managing everyday aches, tension, and stress to clients recovering from injury or looking to improve physical performance—the approach is holistic, thorough, and results-driven. Each session is designed to support the body’s natural healing processes while promoting relaxation, balance, and long-term health.

What is a Sports Therapist?

Sports Therapy encompasses non-physiotherapy practitioners who treat and manage Musculoskeletal conditions using manual therapy and various modality techniques. The term 'Sports' can sometimes be misleading; I treat everyone, not just athletes!

What is a Remedial Therapist?

Remedial therapy refers to treatments 'giving or intended as a remedy or cure'. While I don't claim to 'cure', I aim to provide remedies for those in need. My multi-disciplinary skills offer a holistic viewpoint, setting me apart from other therapists. I am dedicated to the level of care I provide to my patients and take pride in excellence within my profession. This commitment led me to rebrand my business in Summer 2020 to better reflect the diverse skills I am proud to offer.
